Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking adjunct faculty to deliver courses in alignment with college policy and course objectives. You will develop outlines and assessments, maintain accurate records, and engage students using modern instructional technology. Commitment to diversity and professional standards is essential.

Compensation is $47.35 per contract hour. Qualifications include ASOM 7.1 credentials, journeyman’s status or equivalent, and relevant instructional technology

Qualifications

• Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies for instruction.
• Meet faculty credentials as outlined in ASOM 7.1 for the area(s) of instruction.
• Promote diversity and inclusive practices in activities and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classes per college policy and course objectives.
• Utilize technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Develop/maintain outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades and requirements.
• Engage with students to foster meaningful learning experiences.
• Interact professionally with students and colleagues and comply with policies.
• Implement emergency and safety procedures in classrooms and labs.
