Qualifications

• 5 years directly related work experience in automotive technology.
• Current Workplace Specialist License(Indiana Dept. of Education) appropriate to course objectives and directly linked to COR.
• Ability to promote an environment respectful of diverse student backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Delivers assigned classes in accordance with college policy and course objectives.
• Develops/maintains course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials; maintains student records and grades.
• Engages with students to foster active learning and positive experience at Ivy Tech.
• Interacts with students and colleagues professionally and complies with college policies.
• Ensures knowledge of and implements emergency and safety procedures for classrooms and labs.
