Job summary

Michigan Association of School Boards is seeking a Para Professional of Automotive Technologies to support Branch Area Careers Center, assisting instructors and students in automotive/diesel technology. Qualifications

  • Education and/or certification: high school graduate; one or more Michigan or National Auto Mechanics Certifications.
  • Experience: two years in appropriate industry and/or recognized training program from a secondary or post-secondary institution

Responsibilities

  • Understand written and oral instructions and demonstrate clear communication.
  • Assist instructors and students with automotive/diesel technology tasks.
  • Demonstrate and explain repair manuals and computer programs to students.
  • Maintain safety and order in the classroom and lab environment.
  • Support program management with attendance, demonstrations, and grading as needed.
