Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Rockville Centre is seeking a skilled Service Technician to perform repairs and diagnostics in a modern, well-equipped shop. You will test-drive vehicles, diagnose issues, and work closely with the Service Advisor to communicate findings and timelines.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal.
• Strong automotive background required.
• Strong teamwork skills preferred.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
• Must have clean & valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership practices.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and equipment to verify repairs.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional needed services and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
