Job summary

Gipson’s Tire & Auto in Gonzales, LA is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician for our new store opening. You will work in a fast-paced, high-energy shop performing tire installation, brake work, alignments, diagnostics and routine maintenance with an emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualified applicants have 3+ years in automotive maintenance or repair, own tools, and a valid US driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in automotive maintenance or repair.
• Must have own tools.
• Valid driver's license preferred and United States work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate vehicle inspection, maintenance and repairs to meet customer expectations.
• Test drives vehicles before and after repairs for safety and function.
• Performs routine maintenance: oil changes, fluid flushes, belts, hoses, batteries.
• Documents findings from inspections and maintains shop equipment.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and supports shop operations with teammates.
