Job summary

Gipson’s Tire & Auto is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician/Mechanic to perform tire installation, maintenance, steering and suspension work, alignments, brakes, engine diagnostics and routine servicing. You will be a key part of daily operations, delivering quality repairs with safety in mind.

You must have 3+ years in automotive maintenance or repair and own tools; a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in automotive maintenance or repair (experience required).
• Solid understanding of automotive systems; PC-based diagnostic tools/digital inspections a plus.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate and timely quality vehicle inspection, maintenance and repairs, meeting customer expectations.
• Test drives vehicles before and after repairs for safety and functionality.
• Performs routine maintenance: oil changes, fluids, belts/hoses, battery testing and installation.
• Conducts visual inspections and documents findings accurately.
• Maintains cleanliness and functionality of shop equipment and adheres to safety guidelines.
• Collaborates with Store Manager and Service Advisors to deliver customer satisfaction.
