Precision Tune Auto Care in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a General Automotive Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance and light repairs, keeping customers' vehicles safe and reliable.

This full-time role offers hourly pay with a production bonus, on-the-job training, and opportunities for advancement to Technician and Master Technician roles within a clean, professional shop backed by a nationally recognized brand.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Passion for automotive repair and willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and routine maintenance services.
• Rotate, repair, and install tires.
• Perform vehicle inspections and recommend maintenance needs.
• Replace brakes and perform basic brake services.
• Perform wheel alignments (training provided if needed).
• Check and top off vehicle fluids.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist experienced technicians with diagnostics and repairs.
• Communicate professionally with teammates and service advisors.
• Follow all company safety and environmental procedures.
