Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Mechanic in Louisiana. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks, and complete state inspections and routine maintenance.

A strong toolkit and basic licensing are expected. The role emphasizes safety, quality service, and opportunities for career growth within a large national network.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Extensive toolbox of personal tools used for undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services.
• Perform undercar repairs such as brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Complete state-mandated inspections and routine maintenance tasks.
• Change oil and filters and check fluids; replace worn parts.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
