Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis in the Zachary, LA area. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of undercar services, including brakes, struts, and shocks, and conduct state inspections.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have 2 years of automotive repair and/or training or equivalent.
• Must possess an extensive personal tool box for undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services.
• Carry out undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Perform state inspections, oil and filter changes, fluid checks, tire mounting/balancing.
• Lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds.
