Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring full-time Automotive Mechanics for our service centers in the Haughton, LA area. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform brakes, suspensions, oil changes, tire mounting and balancing, and state inspections.

Eligible candidates have at least 2 years of automotive repair experience or training, own a toolbox, and can pass background/work authorization in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 2 years of automotive repair experience or equivalent training
• Must have an extensive toolbox of personal tools
• State inspection license(s) and ASE certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks
• Execute oil changes, fluid checks, and replace worn parts
• Dismount/mount/balance tires and complete state-m mandated inspections
