Just Tires, a Goodyear company, is hiring a Mid Level Automotive Technician in Mount Prospect, IL. The role offers hands-on experience diagnosing issues, performing brake repairs, alignments, and tire installation while delivering standout guest service.

The position requires at least 1 year of automotive experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work retail hours including some holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs and maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work 18+ years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; ASE certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics and problem-solving.
• Brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation.
• Provide excellent guest service with clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Report safety issues immediately to management.
• Promote teamwork to deliver timely guest care during all operating hours.
• Maintain adherence to Company policy on vehicle care and operation.
• Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including heavy lifting.
