Job summary

Tire Discounters, the nation's largest family-owned tire & service retailer, is hiring a Service Technician in Frankfort, KY. You will perform tire installation, maintenance, alignments, brakes, engine diagnostics and routine service to ensure safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience.
• Must have own tools (tool purchase program available).
• Ability to operate automotive vehicle lifts, shop tools and equipment (diagnostic scanner experience a plus).
• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate and timely vehicle inspection, maintenance and repairs.
• Test drives vehicles before and after repairs to ensure safety and function.
• Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and assist as needed.
