Job summary

An employee-owned automotive service company in North Attleborough is seeking an Automotive Technician to independently perform vehicle repairs and services. Responsibilities include tire mounting, lube changes, and diagnostics. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, 1-3 ASE certifications, and a valid Driver’s License. Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with 1-3 ASE certifications.
• A valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Correctly mounts, dismounts, balancing, and repair of passenger and light truck tires.
• Properly perform lube/oil/filter changes on domestic and foreign cars.
• Perform unsupervised diagnosis and repairs of vehicles.
• Produce accurate repair estimates on customer vehicles.
• Communicate with customers about the repairs needed.

Skills

Customer service focus in a retail environment

Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.

Basic conflict resolution skills

Solid understanding of the automotive tire and auto service industry

Basic understanding of VAST and automotive PC programs

Basic math skills to produce accurate repair estimates

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Team player

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Technical degree
