Job summary

Sullivan Tire & Auto Service is seeking an Automotive Technician to independently perform vehicle repairs and tire services on customer vehicles, delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of experience with 1–3 ASE certifications, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to work in a retail environment. Responsibilities include tire mounting/balancing, oil changes, diagnostics, and providing accurate repair estimates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience with 1–3 ASE certifications.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Technical degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance tires on passenger and light trucks.
• Perform lube/oil/filter changes on domestic and foreign cars.
• Perform and document vehicle safety inspections.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles including brakes, steering, suspension, heating and cooling systems, alignment, and light tune-ups using automotive tools and software (VAST).
• Produce accurate repair estimates.
• Work with store management to ensure productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to safety and environmental standards and keep a neat work area.
• Explain repairs to customers and the value of the repairs.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Assume other responsibilities as needed.
