Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician within Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO). The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under guidance of experienced technicians, with hands-on learning and a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

You will participate in routine inspections, assist in repair procedures, and interact with customers to explain repairs and deliver high-quality service. A flat-rate pay model rewards efficiency and expertise.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems; install batteries and check electrical systems; perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts and road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least one of A1 – A8 within first two years (fees paid by company; bonus for tests passed).
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services including oil changes, basic inspections, tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
