Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles under the guidance of senior technicians. You will participate in inspections, assist in repairs, and explain procedures to customers while delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers a sign-on bonus of $1,500 for first-time hires and compensates via a flat-rate pay model, with potential earnings reflecting regional workload and productivity.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services including: oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (tests and registrations fees paid by company).
