Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) in Miami to perform essential repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles with minimal supervision. You will diagnose and service oil changes, brakes, tires, suspension, and related tasks to keep vehicles safe and customer-ready.

We value ASE certifications and relevant auto repair experience, plus a complete tool set and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
• At least one ASE certification, with the ability to obtain two additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Basic computer skills and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; must have complete set of tools for automotive repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles with minimal supervision.
• Oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs, and other routine maintenance or warranty-related repairs.
• Support senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work as you build your skills.

Your responsibilities may include oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs, and other routine maintenance or warranty-related repairs based on your experience level.You may also support senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work as you continue to build your skills.
