Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) to perform essential repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles. You will handle oil changes, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs, and warranty-related tasks with guidance from senior technicians to build your skills.

Requires a valid driver's license, 2+ years of auto repair experience or related coursework, and ASE certification (with potential to obtain more within the first year).

Qualifications

• 2 years or more auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with the ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs, and other routine maintenance or warranty-related repairs.
• Support senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work as you build your skills.
• Maintain vehicle reliability and safety to reduce downtime and ensure vehicles are ready for customers.

Your responsibilities may include oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs, and other routine maintenance or warranty-related repairs based on your experience level.You may also support senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work as you continue to build your skills.
