Avis Budget Group in Irving, TX is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) to perform essential repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles with limited supervision. You will handle oil changes, brake work, tire service, suspension repairs and warranty-related tasks.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications, plus 1 ASE certification (with potential to add 2 more in the first year).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with the ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs, and other routine maintenance or warranty-related repairs.
• Support senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work as you build your skills.
• Maintain vehicle reliability and safety to reduce downtime and ensure vehicles are ready for customers.
