Joe CooperGroup Chevrolet Cadillac GMC of Shawnee is seeking a Service Technician of all experience levels to diagnose, repair, and maintain customer and dealership vehicles. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience.
• One year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred.
• Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge.
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance for customer and dealership vehicles.
• Fully understands and carries out repair orders as dispatched.
• Conducts full inspection, diagnosis, and troubleshooting to determine repair needs.
• Performs quality control checks to ensure repairs are completed.
• Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Helps maintain shop appearance and safety standards and ensures the shop runs efficiently.
• Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs.
• Communicates effectively with Service Advisor and Parts department personnel.
• Attends staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required.
