Job summary

Joe Cooper CDJR of Shawnee is seeking skilled Automotive Service Technicians to join our service team. You will diagnose, maintain and repair Lincoln, Ford and other vehicles, and participate in ongoing training in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE and/or Chrysler certifications preferred.
• Experience as automotive technician, preferably with Ford/Lincoln.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment and software.
• Strong problem-solving, detail-oriented, quality-focused.
• Excellent time management and efficiency.
• Good communication with team and customers.
• CDK and X-Time experience preferred.
• Able to lift heavy objects and stand long periods; valid license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems on Lincoln, Ford and other vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-approved repair procedures.
• Identify and communicate recommended repairs accurately.
• Complete repairs efficiently while upholding high standards of quality and safety.
• Work with service advisors and fellow technicians.
• Keep work area clean, organized and safe.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and development.
