Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is part of Bridgestone Americas and operates more than 2,200 company-owned stores. The Automotive Technician role supports our service team, learning to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles under supervision, while delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced setting.

The position offers hands-on training, a route to ASE certifications, and a pay range of $20.13–$30.25 per hour with company commitments to fair compensation and benefits for teammates

Qualifications

Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires.
Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
Install batteries and check electrical systems.
Perform tire maintenance.
Install parts.
Road test vehicles.
Pursue ASE certifications (A.S.E.) within two years; company covers tests and fees; bonuses for tests passed.
