**The pay range for this position is $25.00/hr; however, base pay offered may increase depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Selected candidates may be eligible for benefits including medical, prescription, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, tuition assistance, sick and vacation time, and tire discounts.**

As an Automotive Technician, Goodyear offers:

1. ASE Reimbursement with Pay Increases (brakes, electrical, AC and heating, engine performance, engine repair)
2. Ongoing Training Opportunities with a Defined Career Path
3. Flat Rate role with a 75% guarantee (30 hours booked per week)
4. 401k with a 2% company match

In this role, you will:

1. Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive services professionally, delivering excellent guest experience
2. Mentor and learn about new automotive technologies in a team environment

**Responsibilities include:**

1. Troubleshooting problems and demonstrating diagnostic skills
2. Inspecting, repairing, and diagnosing systems such as brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems
3. Continuously updating technical knowledge through formal training
4. Maintaining standards of sales, service, safety, and housekeeping
5. Performing manual tasks, including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting

**Basic Requirements:**

1. At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license
2. Three years of automotive repair experience, including diagnosis and problem-solving
3. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
4. Preferred: ASE A4 and A5 Certifications, state inspection licenses, or MAC certification

**Additional considerations:**

1. Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays
2. Ability to use diagnostic technology and tools
3. Ability to recommend repairs based on manufacturing guidelines
