Job Title: Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Location:

4021 32nd Ave. Hudsonville, MI 49426

Job Overview:

This brand-new state-of-the-art facility is scheduled to open in May 2025. Interviews will begin in April 2025.

We are seeking energetic, upbeat technicians/mechanics with a positive attitude who are passionate about solving challenging problems and doing right by our guests.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Diagnose and repair vehicles for our guests using your knowledge and skills.
2. Build experience across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
3. Complete thorough and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
4. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot customer concerns efficiently.
5. Adhere to high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
6. Communicate effectively with the service department regarding customer concerns.
7. Work with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver excellent results.

Qualifications:

1. Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests.
2. At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
3. ASE Certifications preferred or a plan to obtain them.
4. Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
5. Ability to meet or exceed hourly goals.
6. Aptitude for learning new skills and processes.
7. Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
8. Interest in long-term career development.

Physical Requirements:

1. Occasionally lift and move over 100 pounds.
2. Work with tools on vehicles lifted above head level.
3. Work in tight spaces as needed for repairs.
4. Have dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
5. Stand and walk for most of the workday.
6. Drive manual transmission vehicles.
7. Navigate a computer efficiently.
