Job Title: Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Location: 4021 32nd Ave. Hudsonville, MI 49426

Job Overview:

This brand-new state-of-the-art facility is scheduled to open in May 2025. Interviews will begin in April 2025.

We are looking for technicians/mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we seek must proactively solve problems with a strong passion for customer service.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Diagnose and repair vehicles using knowledge and skills
• Build experience across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
• Complete courteous vehicle inspections accurately
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot customer concerns efficiently
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Communicate effectively with the service department about customer concerns
• Work with other Technicians to meet deadlines and deliver quality results

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
• 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
• ASE Certifications or plans to achieve
• Ability to diagnose and repair all makes/models
• Meet or exceed hourly goals
• Aptitude for learning new skills
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills
• Long-term career development interest

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally lift/move over 100 pounds
• Work with tools on vehicles lifted above head
• Work in tight spaces as needed
• Use hand tools efficiently
• Walk/stand most of the workday
• Drive manual transmission vehicles
• Navigate a computer effectively
