Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Store Manager on store operations, including hiring, training, coaching, disciplining, and firing employees.
• Support automotive technicians by training and developing teammates on shop operations and guest services.
• Assist with employee scheduling, timecard completion, and work assignments for Lube and Tire technicians.
• Perform duties of automotive technician when needed.
• Attend meetings and clinics to stay current with tools, parts, and repairs.

Automotive Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle diagnostics and identify repairs.
• Complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection on every vehicle.
• Assist with inventory management and store duties.
• Perform services following safety standards and procedures.
• Test drive vehicles per company policy and traffic laws.
• Maintain technical knowledge through training.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience, plus potential incentives.

General Service Technician:

This is a full-time or part-time hourly position responsible for routine vehicle repair and maintenance, delivering excellent guest service, and effective communication of vehicle issues.

Salary Range: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour based on experience, with additional incentives possible.

Qualifications

Automotive Assistant Manager:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of automotive and sales experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, lift 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills and basic math skills.
• Guest and team focused mindset.

Automotive Technician:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training or equivalent experience.
• ASE certification and State Inspection license (if applicable).
• Valid driver’s license and good MVR.
• Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.

General Service Technician:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good MVR.
