Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Store Manager on store operations and personnel decisions.
• Support automotive technicians by training and developing team members on shop operations and guest services.
• Assist with scheduling, completing timecards, and assigning work to technicians.
• Perform duties of automotive technician when needed.
• Attend meetings and clinics to stay current on tools, parts, and repairs.

Automotive Technician:

• Perform vehicle diagnostics and identify required repairs.
• Complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection on every customer vehicle.
• Assist with inventory management and store duties.
• Adhere to safety standards and procedures.
• Test drive vehicles following company policy and traffic laws.
• Maintain technical knowledge via Monro University training.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely per manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience; flat rate of $25 - $35 also available.

General Service Technician:

This role is full-time or part-time, hourly, based on business needs. Responsibilities include performing routine vehicle repair and maintenance, delivering excellent guest service, and communicating vehicle issues effectively. Salary ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, with potential incentives.

Qualifications

Automotive Assistant Manager:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of automotive and sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work with hands overhead.
• Good communication and basic math skills.

Automotive Technician:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training or experience in basic maintenance and repair.
• ASE certification and State Inspection license preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to conduct test drives.
• Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.

General Service Technician:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate customer vehicles.
