Job summary

Holmes-Motors-Inc is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to maintain and repair vehicles in a fast-paced shop environment. You will diagnose, repair, and service a variety of vehicles with emphasis on quality and safety.

The role requires strong technical skills in automotive diagnostics and maintenance. You will work Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, with no weekend work and will be paid hourly with potential on-the-job training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a service technician in automotive repair.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and maintenance techniques.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
• Certified Automotive Technician preferred (ASE certification a plus).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues; remove and replace engines and transmissions, water pumps, timing, A/C, heater cores.
• Complete paperwork and documentation for each service performed.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Bring and use your own tools.
• Maintain a valid driver's license.
• Our Service Techs are paid hourly.
• Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts; no weekends.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles. If you have a passion for automotive repair, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent technical skills, we would love to hear from you. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of vehicles
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, remove and replace engines and transmission, water pumps, engine timing, a/c, and heater cores
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each service performed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Having your own tools is a MUST
• VALID Driver's License required.
• Our Service Tech's are paid Hourly vs Flat Rate
• Strong willingness to learn, take direction to task, and grow.
• Maintain a positive dynamic attitude with the ability to recover quickly from setbacks.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment

Requirements

Experience:
