The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Technician for Napleton's Lexus of Wayzata in Minnesota. You will perform repair and maintenance work to dealer and factory standards, diagnosing issues and communicating with customers to build trust and loyalty.

• Automotive Service Technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work per repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicating with Parts and Service to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnosing malfunctions and performing repairs accordingly.
• Explaining diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Keeping abreast of factory bulletins and attending training.
• Maintaining an organized work area and reporting issues to management.
• Other duties assigned by manager.

Located at Napleton's Lexus of Wayzata, theAutomotive Master Technicianwill be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effectively diagnosing vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area
• Other duties assigned by manager

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Service Technician experience
• ASE certification desirable
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local/law regulations.
