Automotive Technician - Langdale Kia of Valdosta

Join our team as an Automotive Technician at Langdale Kia of Valdosta. We are offering a unique opportunity for military Veterans through the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), designed to support Veterans in starting a career as a Kia Certified Service Technician.

Job Responsibilities

1. Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
2. Complete repair orders and warranty requests following Kia and Retailer policies.
3. Test drive vehicles, analyze, diagnose, and repair components using Kia diagnostic tools and strategies.
4. Perform services, diagnostics, and repairs efficiently while communicating with the shop foreman and service advisor to ensure an excellent customer experience.

Additional Information

All employment opportunities are with independently owned Kia Retailers. Applicants are applying for full-time positions with a Kia Retailer, not directly with Kia or related companies. Employment is subject to applicable laws and retailer discretion.

Minimum Requirements

• Honorable Discharge from military service
• Valid driver’s license from any state with a clean driving record
• Experience in a technical or mechanical field
• Willingness to pass drug screening and background checks
