Job summary

Lincoln Tech in Houston, TX is seeking skilled Automotive Technicians to become Instructors in our Automotive Technology program. No teaching experience is required; we train technicians to become educators and shape the next generation of automotive professionals.

The role focuses on hands-on instruction, delivering accredited curriculum, and supporting student growth in a climate-controlled facility. We offer a 4-day work week, full-time benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Automotive Technician experience.
• Former or current ASE certifications (G1, A6 required).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in technology and classroom equipment.
• Teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach hands-on training in Automotive Technology in our facility.
• Deliver Lincoln Tech accredited curriculum.
• Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, accountability.
• Evaluate and communicate progress with students.
• Teach safety and compliance concepts to students.
• Prepare students for successful careers in automotive technology.
