Requirements:

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with the dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers if additional service is needed and provide repair time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Coordinate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned.
• Keep abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean and notify the service advisor of any changes in vehicle condition.
• Maintain a neat and clean shop area.
• Maintain and be accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals, returning them in good condition.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA standards.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
• Report safety issues immediately.
• Pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug tests, and possess a valid driver's license.
