Napleton Elmhurst Acura is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform repairs and maintenance per dealer and factory standards, building customer loyalty through trustworthy service. The role is located at Napleton Elmhurst Acura and involves diagnosing issues, communicating with parts and service staff, and maintaining quality workmanship.

The position requires ASE certification (desirable), valid driver’s license, and excellent customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience required.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service is essential.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Valid Driver’s License is mandatory.
• Willingness to undergo a background check per local laws.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with company policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work per repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive customer loyalty.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals including customers.
• Stay current with factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized work area.

Job Responsibilities:
