Job summary

Far East Motors in Silver Spring, MD seeks an experienced Automotive Technician to service Honda, Acura, Toyota and Lexus vehicles. The shop offers a heated and air-conditioned workspace and an hourly-plus-production pay structure with earning potential from $60k to $120k.

Typical hours are 40–50 weekly with Monday–Friday and a rotating Saturday schedule. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, paid training, uniforms, and relocation assistance if applicable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years automotive repair experience for B-Level; 6+ years for A-Level.
• Intermediate diagnostic ability for B-Level; intermediate-to-advanced for A-Level.
• Experience with repair, diagnostics, drivability, electrical systems, maintenance, and vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair drivability, electrical, mechanical issues.
• Perform maintenance, inspections, brake service, suspension repairs, tire service, and alignments.
• Diagnose electrical systems and perform repairs.
• Use scan tools (Autel, AutoLogic, Snap-on, Matco, Launch) for diagnostics.
• Complete digital inspections using Tekmetric and document findings.
• Prepare repair estimates; parts ordering is handled separately.
• Service Honda, Acura, Toyota, and Lexus; other makes as needed.
• Work toward 75% production hours.
