Job summary

Tire Discounters, a family-owned auto service retailer, is hiring a Service Technician to perform tire installation, maintenance, brakes, alignments, engine diagnostics and routine service. You will help ensure safe, quality repairs and support daily operations at your location.

We require 2+ years of automotive repair experience, own tools, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and availability on Saturdays. ASE certs are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience (ASE certifications preferred but not required).
• Must have own tools (tool purchase program available).
• Ability to operate automotive vehicle lifts, shop tools and equipment (diagnostic scanner experience a plus).
• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and availability to work Saturdays.
• Comfortable with occasional exposure to mechanical hazards and outdoor conditions.
• Authorized to work in the USA (18+).

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate and timely quality vehicle inspection, maintenance and repairs, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
• Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure functionality and overall safety.
• Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and assist as needed.
