Job summary

Tire Discounters, the nation's largest family-owned tire and automotive service retailer, is seeking a Service Technician in the United States to perform tire installation, maintenance, alignments, brakes, diagnostics and routine services to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.

You will work with a collaborative team, maintain tools and a clean, safe workspace, and benefit from a pay plan that combines weekly hourly wages with labor-based commissions and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of automotive repair experience (ASE certifications preferred but not required).
  • Must have own tools (tool purchase program available).
  • Ability to operate automotive vehicle lifts, shop tools and equipment (diagnostic scanner experience a plus).
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license and availability to work Saturdays.
  • Authorized to work in the USA (18+).

Responsibilities

  • Provides accurate and timely quality vehicle inspection, maintenance and repairs, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure functionality and overall safety.
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and assist as needed.
