Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles within our retail service environment. You will learn under experienced technicians and interact with customers to explain repairs and provide high-quality service.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, oil changes, tire work and inspections. A.S.E. certifications are encouraged with company support for trainings and tests.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including oil changes.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment.
