Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our service team in New York. You will learn and perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance under experienced technicians, with opportunities to interact with customers and explain repair procedures.

The role offers flat-rate pay, benefits from day one, and a path toward ASE certification. A valid driver's license and basic mechanical aptitude are required for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes, basic inspections, reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications (tests paid by company; bonuses for tests passed).
