Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Automotive Technician in Kansas City, MO to inspect, diagnose, and repair complex vehicle systems. You will work with advanced diagnostics, mentor teammates, and maintain high safety and quality standards while building your customer base.

Qualified candidates bring at least three years' repair experience (or equivalent military maintenance), a valid driver’s license, and flexibility for evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' automotive repair experience OR three years in military vehicle maintenance, with strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
• Preferred ASE A4/A5 certifications or state inspection/MAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems.
• Troubleshoot problems using up‑to‑date technology and diagnose accurately.
• Mentor teammates and learn new techniques as automotive technology evolves.
• Maintain safety, quality, and housekeeping standards while using protective equipment.
