Job summary

Goodyear is hiring an Automotive Technician for our Kansas City area location. You will diagnose and repair a range of systems including brakes, suspension, engine performance, and air conditioning using advanced diagnostic tools.

You will mentor teammates and stay current with evolving automotive technology while upholding safety and quality standards. The role includes a flat-rate pay model with guaranteed earnings and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of automotive repair experience or 3 years in military vehicle maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• ASE A4/A5 certifications and related licenses are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, A/C and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot problems using the latest diagnostic equipment and techniques.
• Mentor teammates and continue to learn new automotive technologies.
• Maintain safety, quality, and housekeeping standards in the shop.
• Perform manual tasks such as lifting tires and parts as required.
