Pep Boys, now part of the Mavis Tire family, is hiring Automotive Mechanics for our Birmingham, AL area service centers. Full-time positions offer competitive weekly pay, benefits, and career growth opportunities within a national automotive service organization.

As an Automotive Mechanic, you will inspect, diagnose, and repair a range of automotive systems, perform tire services, and help ensure our customers stay safely on the road.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive repair and maintenance experience or training.
• At least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have the personal tools necessary to perform repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, suspensions, and steering.
• Diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Perform oil and filter changes and fluid checks.
• Replace worn or damaged parts.
• Complete state inspections where applicable.
• Mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Maintain Mavis quality, safety, and customer service standards.
