Pep Boys in Birmingham, AL is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles at our Team Mavis centers. You’ll join the nation’s largest automotive service network, with strong training, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience or relevant training.
• Must have personal tools to perform undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering.
• Diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Perform oil and filter changes and check fluids.
• Replace worn or damaged parts.
• Complete state inspections, where applicable.
• Mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Maintain Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
