Job summary

DriveTime Family of Brands is seeking an automotive technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair a variety of vehicles. You will perform emissions testing where applicable, manage vehicle movement and inventory, document work in DriveTime systems, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or automotive cert/experience), valid license, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Certificate or Associates degree in automotive technology or work experience equivalent (3 years or more) in automotive repair.
• Must be able to communicate in English and read/interpret technical documents.
• Must be able to meet metric performance targets and learn DriveTime standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform advanced vehicle repairs and maintenance; conduct emissions testing where applicable.
• Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on multiple makes and models of DriveTime inventory vehicles.
• Explain automotive repairs and issues to management to minimize re-work and delays in production.
• Proper documentation of all work performed in DT systems; maintain a safe and clean work area.
