Job summary

PEP BOYS / Mavis Tire in Seekonk, MA area is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics for full-time roles. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a variety of automotive maintenance and repair services to keep customers safely on the road.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Performing undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering
• Diagnosing vehicle maintenance and repair needs
• Performing oil and filter changes and checking fluids
• Replacing worn or damaged parts
• Completing state inspections, where applicable
• Mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Maintaining Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service
