Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics in the Salem, MA area to join Team Mavis. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a range of automotive maintenance and repair services to keep customers safely on the road.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training.
Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and perform a variety of automotive maintenance and repair services.
Perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering.
Diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
Perform oil and filter changes and check fluids.
Replace worn or damaged parts.
Complete state inspections, where applicable.
Mount, rotate, and balance tires.
