Job Description

Empire Automotive Group GMC Buick White Plains is seeking an Automotive Technician. If you are a certified automotive technician with dealership experience looking to advance your career, Empire Automotive Group offers a great opportunity. We are hiring for the following positions:

• Lube Technician
• Experienced Service Technician
• Master Service Technician

Your Daily Work Schedule

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to test components and systems.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate with Service Advisors to inform customers of additional needed services and provide repair estimates.
• Execute warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications.

Qualities We’re Looking For

• Dealership automotive experience.
• Strong understanding of service drive operations.
• Relevant years of experience based on the position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with collaborative skills.
• Willingness to learn new technology and procedures.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
