Job summary

CJ's Tire & Automotive in West Lawn, PA is hiring a full-time Automotive Technician to perform inspections, diagnostics and repairs following company policy.

You'll document manufacturer specs, communicate findings to customers, and complete repairs with attention to safety and quality. Candidates should have at least 2 years of technician experience, own tools, and a valid PA inspection/emissions license; ASE certs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years automotive technician experience
• Have a valid PA inspection and emissions licenses, and Mobile Refrigeration Certification (609c)
• Have a valid drivers’ license, acceptable driving history, and access to reliable transportation
• ASE Certifications preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Have your own tools
• Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to at least 50lbs
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations in a professional manner
• Candidates must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screenings

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and error-free inspections, diagnoses, and automotive repairs following established company policy and procedures.
• Complete service inspections supporting customers requested service while clearly documenting the manufacturer specifications/ tolerances, which will support the salesperson in communicating conditions to the customer.
• Communicate technical aspects of repair to customer when asked by salesperson or manager.
• Perform approved vehicle repairs using established company and industry guidelines.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
