Kia Retailers are offering skilled and experienced military Veterans the opportunity to start a career as a Kia Certified Service Technician. Kia America, Inc. has established the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) to support this initiative.
Job Description
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Complete repair orders and warranty requests following Kia and Retailer policies
- Test drive vehicles and analyze, diagnose, and repair components using Kia diagnostic tools and strategies
- Perform services and repairs efficiently, communicating with the shop foreman and service advisor to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements
- Honorable Discharge
- Valid Driver's License from any state with a clean driving record
- Experience in a technical or mechanical field
- Willingness to complete drug screening and background checks
