Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles. Under guidance of experienced techs, you will perform inspections, assist in repairs, and explain procedures to customers in a fast-paced service environment.

You will learn foundational skills and contribute to high-quality workmanship while earning a competitive flat-rate pay structure.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including:
• Oil changes
• Basic inspections
• Repairing tires
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue A.S.E. certifications within two years; tests fees paid by the company; bonus for each pass.
