Job summary

Clay Dooley Tire & Auto is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our Bloomington service team. You will perform tire installation, alignments, brakes, engine diagnostics, and preventive maintenance to keep our customers on the road.

This on-site role requires at least 3 years' experience, own tools, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. We offer weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and a supportive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' automotive maintenance or repair experience.
• Own a complete set of mechanic tools.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate vehicle inspections, maintenance and repairs to meet customer expectations.
• Perform test drives before and after repairs to verify function and safety.
• Complete routine maintenance such as oil changes, fluids, belts, batteries.
• Document findings from visual inspections clearly and thoroughly.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and equipment and comply with safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate dependability and adaptiveness in a fast-paced environment.
